CHECK YOUR TICKETS

Once you have been dispatched to work, it is extremely important to contact the Learning Centre and check if any weld tests are required.  More and more companies are requesting welders be tested to job specific procedures or that welder's tickets are issued within 6 months. If you go to the job without the proper tickets you may be sent back to the hall to test or be asked to return your dispatch.

If you have friends or family interested in pursuing a career with the Boilermakers their first step is to attend an Apprentice Recruitment Information Seminar (ARIS). The seminar covers Boilermaker trade descriptions, jobsite demands, what it means to be a member of local 146 and how our apprenticeship program works. All of their questions will be answered there.
