IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD WILL BE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN 2011 DON’T FORGET TO APPLY FOR A UNION SCHOLARSHIP.

Forms for International and Local Scholarships will be available in January 2011. To qualify...

- you need to be entering the first year of a two or four year academic program at a degree-granting, accredited college or university within one year of your high school graduation.

- and be a dependent of a member in good standing (legally adopted child or dependants of active, retired, disabled, or deceased members qualify).

Scholarships are based on academic record, extra-curricular and outside school activities, career goals, and performance on a typed essay. Candidates must submit an official application, proof of relationship to a Boilermaker member, a high school transcript, and a 300-500 word typed essay on a specific topic.
