Where: Operating Engineers Local 955 Northern District Office, 258 Gregoire Drive, Fort McMurray, AB

When: Friday, April 17, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (Essential Skills Assessment to follow information seminar)

Why: Learn about working as a unionized skilled trades professional in Alberta

How: Pre-register by emailing register@boilermakers.ca. Include your name, phone number and “Ft McMurray ARIS”. Drop-ins also welcome.

Thanks to Oil Sands Alliance its now easier for Ft. McMurray residents to attend the two-week WorkSmart program in Edmonton. Oil Sands Alliance will cover up to $2500 in expenses.
