Marijuana legalization has arrived!
It’s been a long time coming, but we must not lose sight of the risks and responsibilities that we still have. Consequences still remain for “Canadian Model” violations in our workplaces and for pre-access testing.
It’s very important to realize that our obligation to be fit for work does NOT change.
The pre-access testing limits DO NOT CHANGE.
RSAP testing limits DO NOT CHANGE.
Just cause and post incident testing limits DO NOT CHANGE.
Case Managed Aftercare limits DO NOT CHANGE.
Members need to understand that any potential changes to the “Canadian Model” will come when our contracts are being re-negotiated.
