Rally in Fort McMurray – May 31st

Albertans have watched for months as Premier Rachel Notley and Alberta’s NDP worked tirelessly to make sure that we have the energy infrastructure we need to sell our products for the best price possible. The Federal government has followed our lead and taken a necessary step to ensure that we have access to tidewater for our resources.

We committed to getting the Trans Mountain Pipeline built, and thanks to the endless work of our NDP team we were able to announce on Tuesday that construction will start this summer. The jobs and economic growth that come with this pipeline expansion will help fund our public services, like healthcare and education.

Premier Notley, and members of her team will mark this momentous occasion with a rally at the Oil Sand Discovery Centre in Fort McMurray (515 MacKenzie Blvd, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 4X3) at 12:30 pm.
